EPC

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) are required for the sale or rental of residential properties within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.  An EPC measures the Energy Performance of the dwelling in question and are rated from A-G.  Scoring between A & E on your EPC means you can legally rent or sell your property.  Scoring between F and G means that you need to bring your property up to the required standard, by installing the measures advised on the EPC.  If you score between an F & G help is right at your fingertips our dedicated insulation team will arrange the installation of the required measures, which are available through government grants for those households that qualify.

DEA’s (Domestic Energy Assessors)

Our DEA”s are all accredited and audited regularly to ensure our standards are second to none. when we are conducting surveys.  Not only that our DEA’s have committed to CPD (Continuing Professional Development), to ensure are surveys are always accurate and reflect the dwelling in it’s true nature.

EPC Surveys.

During the survey our DEA will look at the following: Exterior of Dwelling, Windows, Front Door (and back if applicable), Floor Area, Heating System, Loft and Lighting.  Evidence will be produced in the form of photos, to confirm the information input into the EPC is 100% accurate.
